Open Sew: Super Sewcation is a two-day opportunity for up to 100 quilters and other sewists (and maybe a stray knitter or two!) to work on projects, get opinions and help, and spark creativity during open sew time.
In addition, we will feature several schoolhouse-type sessions for learning techniques and easy projects.

Guild Member: $65 for both days. Discount applies to members of ANY guild!
Non-Guild Member: $75 for both days
Daily Rate: $40 (Friday 8am-9pm or Saturday 8am-6pm)

- Fill out the online form.
- Make checks payable to ND Capital Quilters. Note “Sewcation” in the memo.
- Mail your check to: ND Capital Quilters, PO Box 7092, Bismarck, ND 58507. Or deliver your check to a NDCQ meeting.
- You will receive a registration confirmation email after payment and form are received.
Remember, seating is limited for open sew. Complete your registration early to assure your spot!
Super Sewcation Information:
- Each registered attendee will be provided a table and chair.
- Check your name badge for a food voucher!

Schoolhouse Sessions:
Welcome to the ND Capital Quilters SUPER Sewcation Schoolhouse 2026! Schoolhouse sessions are exclusively for Super Sewcation registered attendees. Pre-registration is not required for these workshops. Each session is limited to 30 people, first-come, first-served. We’ve created quite a variety of demonstrations to enhance the FUN at this Super Sewcation Event! There will be quilt projects, tips and tricks for quilting, and more. Some demonstrators have included a supply list in case you want to work on the project during the Super Sewcation. Raffle Baskets:
We have plenty of awesome raffle baskets stuffed with a wide array of quilting and other goodies for which you can buy chances to win! Open to the public. Anyone may purchase tickets on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. The winners will be drawn on Friday and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Winners must pick up their prizes no later than 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. We will not mail out prizes. Participants must be 21 years old to bid on baskets containing alcohol and must show proof of age to pick up the prize. |

Important Information About Our Venue
Please note that the Bismarck Event Center does NOT allow outside food or drink in the facility. Therefore, we will not have a snack/refreshments area.
A coffee and water station will be available. Concessions will be open on Friday and Saturday.
